Village del Mar
The home is sited on the fabulous Village del Mar which has a brilliant new swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, children’s play area, shop, restaurant and launderette. All these facilities are open from June until the end of September and are free for you to enjoy.
The park is planted with many wonderful Mediterranean plants, oleanders, aloe vera, palm trees and soaring pines you may even catch a glimpse of the tufty eared local black squirrel as he searches for nuts.
Situated in the Rousillion and Languedoc area,
Argeles is at the heart of the Catalan. A such, it and the surrounding
regions, benefit from the many and varied cultural influences.
The nearest city, Perpignan, is only 20 minutes drive, Nabonne, Carcassonne,
Bezier, Nimes and Monpeiller are all within 2 hours by car.Andorra, a Tax Free principality is also a very good day out.
Spain can be accessed within 20 minutes with attractions like the Salvador
Dali Museum and the town of Figueras, Barcelona well worth a visit.
Argeles and Area

Argeles and the coastal villages have been kept unspoilt and the beach,
which is only 5 minutes away from the accommodation , boast the cleanest in
Europe.
The town itself marks the start of a French conservation area, is set in the
back-drop of the Pyrenees and is easy accessible.
There are numerous shops restaurants and bars. The port is worth a visit
where you can purchase fresh fish and local wine’s.
The whole area is bathed in vineyards, with wine tasting a very popular
pastime with the tourists and the local’s. there are excellent opportunities
to purchase quality wine at price’s you can only dream about.
For the historian’s, visits to some of the Roman baths, famed for their
medicinal qualities, are strongly recommended.
The whole area is seeped in history with monuments and castles dating back
to the 9th and 10th centuries. Even the smallest village has, as it’s
centrepiece, an ancient church.
